Rhona trained as a General Nurse in Glasgow and specialised in Cardiac Nursing at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital before emigrating to New Zealand in 2005. Rhona has had a varied research career, enabling her to experience the industry from many viewpoints. Rhona officially began her research career as a Research Coordinator, where she was national lead for numerous first in human medical device studies. Rhona later specialised in Study Start-up for a large CRO where her practical experience as a Research Coordinator was invaluable to the sponsors she engaged with. Since 2015, Rhona has been with Douglas Pharmaceuticals and currently performs the role of Clinical Operations Manager. As Clinical Operations Manager, she puts to use her wide experience as she manages the clinical team and the company’s ever growing worldwide generic and repurposing portfolios.
