Investigator Lead Research with Industry Partners: A Clinical Research Perspective
Investigator lead research conducted in partnership with industry, represents an important revenue stream to fund research. In order to successfully attract such funding, the investigator needs to be able to demonstrate many qualities including scientific integrity, adaptability, communication skills, and be prepared to meet deadlines typically seen in businesses rather than in research organisations. There are many additional reporting and documentation requirements. This talk will discuss my personal insights into conducting this research, and how to build relationships with industry partners.
